Numbers and arithmetic operations
We will learn how to work with numbers and solve examples at the snap of our fingers: add, subtract, multiply, divide, and compare. We will also learn about fractions.

– Comparing numbers, signs for “less,” “more,” and “equal.”
– Adding and subtracting single and two-digit numbers.
– Operations with three-digit numbers.
– Multiplication and division.
– Order of operations in examples.

Geometric shapes
We will get acquainted with the basics of geometry and remember what shapes are like and how they differ. We will also learn how to solve geometric problems, draw pictures according to their conditions and understand the first important terms.

– Angles and their types.
– The concept of symmetry and symmetrical figures.

Values and the relationship between them
We will learn what geometric quantities and units of measurement are. And then we will learn how to convert them from one system to another, perform arithmetic operations and solve problems with quantities.

– Length: mm, cm, dm, m, km.
– Area: mm2, cm2, dm2, m2, km2.
– Volume: mm3, cm3, dm3, m3, km3.
– Time: s, min, h.
– Translation of units of measurement.

Algebraic concepts
We’ll break down the properties of mathematical operations and learn how to solve first equations and inequalities.

– Properties of addition.

Text Exercises
We’ll tell you how to solve even the most complicated problems by finding all the important data and making a diagram. We will also learn what formulas are and how to memorize them without having to memorize them.

– Work problems (amount of work done, productivity, time).

Working with information and analyzing data
Introduce you to different kinds of representations of information and learn how to process data in a way that makes it easier to make sense of it.

– Tables.
– Charts (pie charts, bar charts, line charts).
